I’m Deon, and mountain biking has been part of my life for nearly three decades. Over the years, I’ve discovered that the best rides aren’t just about the trails—they’re about the people you share them with. That’s why I love taking groups out to explore, connect, and have fun on two wheels.
With the rise of eMTBs, group riding has become more enjoyable and accessible than ever. Everyone can keep up, enjoy the flow, and experience the adventure together—whether you’re a seasoned rider or just starting out.
Durbanville offers some of the finest trails in South Africa, even playing host to two full stages of the Absa Cape Epic. From flowing single track through the vineyards to breathtaking views across the valley, this area is a true mountain biking paradise.
And of course, no ride is complete without a great cup of coffee and a good chat afterwards. It’s the perfect way to wrap up a day on the trails.
